Changes small and large.

The splash/flash logo on the front page has been changed to reflect the new project. Yes, it is still being worked on. To be fully honest, it is being worked on privately until finished. Then it will all likely see the same kind of attention as Quantum Homicide did.

No matter what happens, The Riddle of Doom ends up being the one passion that all others fail to live up to. This will live.

Here goes: Getting kicked out of my house. Buying a better one. The new house have a studio room for better recording. My computer broke, but I fixed that and made it better too. I'm working more, but have a laptop for working on music while on downtime.

The new project is being called "Riddle of Doom." Not getting dragged down by drama is going to be a central theme. It is going to be a story again, like Quantum Homicide was. This will have more of a horror movie sound, with more of a rock edge. Much of the sound of Quantum Homicide will also be returning.

Moving, working harder at the job, working harder on this music, and real life in general will take its toll on the music getting out faster. Yet, that struggle is a central aspect of the album's theme.

I will no longer be recording for The Quantum Homicide. At this point, it's time to push everything down to stereo .wav files. Then, the songs will be mastered together to sound like one cohesive piece. This really shouldn't even be difficult, since it was all recorded with this purpose in mind.

The mastering will take a while. After which, I intend to put low-quality mp3s online for free, or good quality ones for sale. How I do this may even be amusing. To me, anyway.

There's still so much left to do. I have already recorded guitar and bass for the first song of the next project. Another song's worth of lyrics are alreay written. Several possible titles are being worked on, but I need to settle soon.

I already have some artwork finished for the next project. It's a symbol of sorts.

Oh, yes. Everything is recorded and is being mixed down. Jack is finally going to get what's coming to him. I started this in March of last year. It's been thirteen months to finish.

That's fitting.
